Do you avoid dancing at weddings because you think you’ll look goofy? Do you hesitate
to wear your favorite outfit because you’re afraid others will think it’s weird? Have you
wanted to go gray but worry your family won’t like it?
People who aren’t comfortable being themselves tend to:
Second guess their decisions
Worry about what others think
Hesitate to speak their minds or do what they want
Hide behind others’ words instead of using their own
If any of this sounds familiar, consider this: You are one-of-a-kind. No one else on the
planet is exactly like you. That’s why you deserve to be completely comfortable being
yourself – in every way.
Do you want a blue swatch in your hair? Do it. Would you enjoy camping solo and
sleeping in your car? Start packing. Have you always wanted to sing karaoke but were
too afraid? Get practicing. Want to write a children’s book? Stop hesitating. Think about
the joy you may have missed by holding back all these years and letting others
influence your behavior.
